“After all these years I have acquired a keen eye for selecting adequate personnel”, states Rosario Andrada de Quispe, founder of the Warmi Sayajsungo Association, the first association of Kollas women in Argentina. Through a network of promoters, and controlled by community members, the Warmi has organized, among other things, a micro credit program that allows people to obtain community funds to be invested in the construction of green houses for vegetable cultivation, in weaving technique innovations, or livestock improvement techniques.
