Through its subsidiary in Argentina, Masisa has had an important boost in its commercial activities among MERCOSUR countries. Masisa Argentina S.A. was recognized in 2001 with the "Premio a la Exportación Argentina", awarded yearly in that country and sponsored by the Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs.
